Advantage 440
Overview
Unmatched water resistance for dynamic applications
Advantage 440 is a two-part crosslinking polyvinyl acetate emulsion adhesive designed for applications demanding high water resistance such as non-structural millwork needs. This product has low VOCs and Meets ASTM D-5751-99 Wet Use and ASTM D-5572-99 Wet Use. Advantage 440 offers excellent performance in lamination, finger jointing, and edge gluing operations and can be used in a hot press, cold press, and radio frequency press.
Stability
Shelf Life, Storage, & Handling
Best if used within six months of date of manufacture. Mix before use for best results. Product is freeze-thaw stable. If it becomes frozen, allow to warm to ambient temperature and thoroughly mix until a homogenous, smooth mixture is obtained. Two-component adhesives require additional storage, safety, and disposal recommendations—consult the SDS before use for additional considerations.
