Franklin Adhesives & Polymers Introduces Its Highest-Performing Finger Jointing Adhesive, Advantage 425

Franklin Adhesives and Polymers, a division of Franklin International, is introducing its highest-performing two-part adhesive yet for finger jointing applications in millwork: the new Advantage 425.

Advantage 425, a durable cross-linking polyvinyl acetate emulsion adhesive, is easy to handle and greatly exceeds Hallmark certification standards as established by the Window and Door Manufacturers Association. It also excels in meeting rigorous ASTM D 5572 (wet use) standards for finger joints in nonstructural bonded-lumber products and is ideal for windows, patio door frames and other construction products exposed to exterior elements.

In addition to meeting these tough standards, Advantage 425 has a low minimum-use temperature between 47-50 degrees Fahrenheit. It also is easily extruded and spreads well on most finger joint application systems. Advantage 425 is the newest in a full line of advanced adhesives for finger jointing, edge and face gluing, wood assembly and lamination offered under the well-respected Advantage, ReacTITE, Multibond and Titebond brands.  For more information on Advantage 425 or other Franklin Adhesives & Polymers products for the wood industry, contact customer service at (800) 487-4583 or send an e-mail to marketing@franklininternational.com.
