Franklin Adhesives & Polymers Highlights Adhesives Developed for European Markets at LIGNA 2011
Franklin Adhesives & Polymers, a division of Franklin International, is highlighting two renowned assembly adhesives designed to meet the performance preferences of wood products manufacturers in European markets at LIGNA 2011: Titebond® 50 HV and Multibond® EZ-2 HV.
Titebond 50 HV is high-viscosity (12,000 – 15,000 cps) aliphatic resin emulsion adhesive that sets very quickly and offers excellent resistance to heat, solvent and creeping. Its low minimum use temperature enables application in colder environments.
Multibond EZ-2 HV is a one-component (pre-catalyzed) cross-linking polyvinyl acetate (PVA) emulsion adhesive that offers the performance characteristics of high viscosity formulation (10,000 cps) along with a clear glue line. It meets DIN EN 204 D3 standards for water resistance and, like Titebond 50 HV, sets quickly and can be applied in lower temperatures.
Both Titebond 50 HV and Multibond EZ-2 HV also meet CARB standards for formaldehyde emissions and LEED requirements for low VOC content.
Titebond 50 HV and Multibond EZ-2 HV are among a broad line of PVA and emulsion polymer isocyanate (EPI) adhesives that Franklin Adhesives & Polymers is presenting to European manufacturers at LIGNA. These adhesives meet high standards for DIN EN 204 D3 and D4 for water resistance.
Manufacturers and distributors who seek information on any of these high-performance wood adhesives are welcome to stop by Franklin Adhesives & Polymers’ booth during LIGNA or visit www.franklinadhesivesandpolymers.com.
